These sounds are usually formed with the symbols \u30e4, \u30e6, \u30e8. For each <a href=\"https:\/\/comoaprenderjapones.net\/en\/japanese-katakana-alphabet\/\">katakana family<\/a>, we can use a specific syllable to create the double kanas. For example, in the \u30ab(ka) family, we use the syllable \u30ad(ki) to form \u30ad\u30e3(kya), \u30ad\u30e5(kyu) and \u30ad\u30e7(kyo).<\/p>\n<p>In all families we always use the vowel syllable \u201cI\u201d to form the double kanas.
