Japanese adverbs can indicate time, frequency, and various other situations depending on the sentence.<\/p>\n<p class=\"orange\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Hover over Japanese symbols to see their pronunciation and translation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In fact, the Japanese language is extremely rich in adverbs. There are many adverbs of many different types. Also, Japanese adverbs are used everywhere, whether formally or informally. This challenges us to study and learn as much as possible.<\/p>\n<p>Because of this, I decided to separate a list of the most used Japanese adverbs, at least the ones I had more contact with while studying Japanese. For example, in\u00a0<acronym title=\"takusan taberu | Eat a lot\">\u305f\u304f\u3055\u3093\u98df\u3079\u308b<\/acronym>\u00a0the Japanese adverb (\u305f\u304f\u3055\u3093 \u2013 quite) appears before the verb (\u98df\u3079\u308b \u2013 to eat). Many adverbs can be created from Japanese adjectives. The method is very similar to what we do in Portuguese.<\/p>\n<p>In many Portuguese words, we just need to add the ending -mente, after an adjective. In this way, the adjective easy becomes the adverb easily, fast becomes quickly, and so on.<\/p>\n<p>In Japanese, just add the ending\u00a0<strong>ku<\/strong>\u00a0To the\u00a0<a title=\"Japanese adjectives I\" href=\"https:\/\/comoaprenderjapones.net\/en\/adjectives-i-in-japanese\/\">Japanese adjectives i<\/a>Or the\u00a0<strong>particle ni<\/strong>\u00a0To the\u00a0<a title=\"Japanese adjectives NA\" href=\"https:\/\/comoaprenderjapones.net\/en\/adjectives-in-japanese\/\">Japanese adjectives in<\/a>. In this way, we can create Japanese adverbs for each type of adjective. Now, let&#039;s get to know other ways to create adverbs and get to know Japanese adverbs &quot;<em>untranslatable<\/em>\u201c.<\/p>\n<p>As if the huge amount of adverbs in Japanese were not enough, especially the adverbs created from adjectives, I discovered that the Japanese language allows using other resources to create new adverbs.<\/p>\n<p>As my knowledge on this subject is short, I will describe what I learned in a very brief way. Right?<\/p>\n<h3>Japanese adverbs with the suffix tekini<\/h3>\n<p>Some words can be turned into adverbs by adding the suffix tekini.<\/p>\n<p><acronym title=\"guttai | concrete\">\u5177\u4f53<\/acronym>\u00a0turns into\u00a0<acronym title=\"gutai teki ni | concretely, concretely or realistically\">\u5177\u4f53\u7684\u306b<\/acronym><\/p>\n<p><acronym title=\"shitsumon no naiyou ga gutaiteki ni tsutawaruyou ni kaite kudasai. | Please write concretely (concretely) as appropriate to the question.\">\u8cea\u554f\u306e\u5185\u5bb9\u304c\u5177\u4f53\u7684\u306b\u4f1d\u308f\u308b\u3088\u3046\u306b\u66f8\u3044\u3066\u304f\u3060\u3055\u3044\u3002<\/acronym><\/p>\n<h3>Verbs with function Japanese adverbs<\/h3>\n<p>Some verbs, when used in the te form, may occasionally be used as adverbs.<\/p>\n<p><acronym title=\"yorokobu | be happy\">\u559c\u3076<\/acronym>\u00a0change to\u00a0<acronym title=\"yorokonde | gladly, be content with, be happy with\">\u559c\u3093\u3067<\/acronym>.<\/p>\n<p><acronym title=\"yorokonde ikimasu. | I will gladly or I am glad to go.\">\u559c\u3093\u3067\u884c\u304d\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/acronym><\/p>\n<p><acronym title=\"yorokonde otetsudaishimasuyo. | I&#039;ll be happy to help. (I will gladly help).\">\u559c\u3093\u3067\u304a\u624b\u4f1d\u3044\u3057\u307e\u3059\u3088\u3002<\/acronym><\/p>\n<h3>Repeating and creating Japanese adverbs<\/h3>\n<p>Some Japanese adverbs can be created from the repetition of a word or sound. It&#039;s like \u6642\u3005 is \u6642\u6642.<\/p>\n<h3>The untranslatable Japanese adverbs<\/h3>\n<p>This story of untranslatable Japanese adverbs was just a joke. In fact, these adverbs do not have a clear translation for a word in Portuguese. I will show you four common cases of these types of Japanese adverbs.<\/p>\n<p><acronym title=\"yappari\">\u3084\u3063\u3071\u308a<\/acronym><\/p>\n<p>This word is just a colloquial form of\u00a0<acronym title=\"yahari\">\u3084\u306f\u308a<\/acronym>. It is an adverb used with the meaning of \u201cJust as I thought\u201d, \u201cAs expected\u201d or \u201cIn spite of everything\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><acronym title=\"kare wa yappari gei desu ne? | Despite everything (Just as I thought, as I expected), he&#039;s cheerful isn&#039;t he?\">\u5f7c\u306f\u3084\u3063\u3071\u308a\u30b2\u30a4\u3067\u3059\u306d<\/acronym><\/p>\n<p><acronym title=\"masaka\">\u307e\u3055\u304b<\/acronym><\/p>\n<p>This Japanese adverb has a meaning similar to \u201cdon\u2019t tell me!\u201d, \u201cimpossible!\u201d, \u201cIt can only be a joke!\u201d, \u201cUnbelievable!\u201d or \u201cAre you making fun of my face?!\u201d.
