A verb conjugation that I have used several times on this site.<\/p>\n<p>It is a very common expression in the Japanese language and is often used to make invitations or suggestions.<\/p>\n<p>Despite not being directly linked to the future tense, the mashou form of Japanese verbs can be considered another type of\u00a0<a title=\"Potential form of Japanese verbs\" href=\"https:\/\/comoaprenderjapones.net\/en\/potential-form-of-japanese-verbs\/\">potential form of japanese verbs<\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0<a title=\"Japanese verbs in the tai form\" href=\"https:\/\/comoaprenderjapones.net\/en\/verbs-in-japanese-in-tai-form\/\">tai shape<\/a>. Most importantly, the form mashou (\u307e\u3057\u3087\u3046) can be translated as a \u201clet&#039;s go\u201d, indicating an invitation or suggestion.<\/p>\n<h2>Conjugating Japanese Verbs in Mashou Form<\/h2>\n<p>Like many other verb conjugations, the form mashou can be used in both the formal mood (<a title=\"Masu form of Japanese verbs\" href=\"https:\/\/comoaprenderjapones.net\/en\/masu-form-of-japanese-verbs\/\">the masu form of verbs in japanese<\/a>), and in the informal mode (<a title=\"Japanese verbs in dictionary form\" href=\"https:\/\/comoaprenderjapones.net\/en\/japanese-informal-verbs-mode\/\">the dictionary form of japanese verbs<\/a>). Following this line of thought, we will have two verb conjugations for each\u00a0<a title=\"Japanese verb groups\" href=\"https:\/\/comoaprenderjapones.net\/en\/japanese-verb-groups\/\">Japanese verb group<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Conjugating Verbs in the Informal Mood (Dictionary Form)<\/h3>\n<p>As the conjugation of verbs in the informal mode has a greater number of rules, let&#039;s start with it. Right?<\/p>\n<h3>Group of verbs ending in \u201cu\u201d<\/h3>\n<p>To conjugate verbs ending in\u00a0<acronym title=\"u\">\u3046<\/acronym>\u00a0in the informal mode of the mashou form, it is enough to change the last syllable of the verb ending in \u201cu\u201d for the syllable of the same family of hiragana ending in \u201co\u201d, adding the vowel\u00a0<acronym title=\"u\">\u3046<\/acronym>\u00a0in the end.<\/p>\n<p><acronym title=\"kau - buy\">\u8cb7\u3046<\/acronym>\u00a0will come\u00a0<acronym title=\"kaou - Let&#039;s buy\">\u8cb7\u304a\u3046<\/acronym><\/p>\n<p><acronym title=\"matsu - wait\">\u5f85\u3064<\/acronym>\u00a0will come\u00a0<acronym title=\"killed - let&#039;s wait\">\u5f85\u3068\u3046<\/acronym><\/p>\n<p><acronym title=\"name - drink\">\u98f2\u3080<\/acronym>\u00a0will come\u00a0<acronym title=\"nomou - let&#039;s drink\">\u98f2\u3082\u3046<\/acronym><\/p>\n<p><acronym title=\"hanasu - To speak, to count\">\u8a71\u3059<\/acronym>\u00a0will come\u00a0<acronym title=\"hanasou - Let&#039;s talk, let&#039;s tell\">\u8a71\u305d\u3046<\/acronym><\/p>\n<h3>Group of verbs ending in iru or eru<\/h3>\n<p>This group of verbs is the easiest to conjugate. Just change the ending\u00a0<acronym title=\"ru\">\u308b<\/acronym>\u00a0dust\u00a0<acronym title=\"you\">\u3088\u3046<\/acronym>, to put Japanese verbs in the mashou form.<\/p>\n<p><acronym title=\"miru - see\">\u898b\u308b<\/acronym>\u00a0will come\u00a0<acronym title=\"miyou - let&#039;s see\">\u898b\u3088\u3046<\/acronym><\/p>\n<p><acronym title=\"taberu - eat\">\u98df\u3079\u308b<\/acronym>\u00a0will come\u00a0<acronym title=\"tabeyou - let&#039;s eat\">\u98df\u3079\u3088\u3046<\/acronym><\/p>\n<p><acronym title=\"shinjiru - believe\">\u4fe1\u3058\u308b<\/acronym>\u00a0will come\u00a0<acronym title=\"shinjiyou - let&#039;s believe\">\u4fe1\u3058\u3088\u3046<\/acronym><\/p>\n<h3>Irregular verb group<\/h3>\n<p>As always, there is no verb conjugation rule for this group. So, we&#039;ll have to learn the hard way. Below is the conjugation of the two main irregular verbs in Japanese.<\/p>\n<p><acronym title=\"suru - do\">\u3059\u308b<\/acronym>\u00a0will come\u00a0<acronym title=\"shou - let&#039;s do it\">\u3057\u3087\u3046<\/acronym><\/p>\n<p><acronym title=\"kuru - come\">\u6765\u308b<\/acronym>\u00a0will come\u00a0<acronym title=\"koyou - let&#039;s come\">\u6765\u3088\u3046<\/acronym><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<h3>Conjugating verbs in the formal mood<\/h3>\n<p>This is the easiest part of the mashou form. To conjugate Japanese verbs in this new mode, we&#039;ll need to remember how to conjugate\u00a0<a title=\"Masu form of Japanese verbs\" href=\"https:\/\/comoaprenderjapones.net\/en\/masu-form-of-japanese-verbs\/\">japanese verbs in masu form<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>First let&#039;s conjugate the verbs in the \u307e\u3059 form. Then let&#039;s change the last syllable \u3059 to \u3057\u3087\u3046. But to make it easier, I&#039;ll leave the conjugation of the two main irregular verbs.<\/p>\n<p><acronym title=\"suru - do\">\u3059\u308b<\/acronym>\u00a0will come<acronym title=\"shimasu - to do (masu form)\">\u3057\u307e\u3059<\/acronym>\u00a0and then turns<acronym title=\"shimashou - let&#039;s do it\">\u3057\u307e\u3057\u3087\u3046<\/acronym><\/p>\n<p><acronym title=\"kuru - come\">\u6765\u308b<\/acronym>\u00a0will come\u00a0<acronym title=\"kimasu - come (masu form)\">\u6765\u307e\u3059<\/acronym>\u00a0and then turns<acronym title=\"kimashou - let&#039;s come\">\u6765\u307e\u3057\u3087\u3046<\/acronym><\/p>\n<h2>How to use the mashou form of Japanese verbs<\/h2>\n<p>There is no difference between using Japanese verbs in the mashou form and the other verb forms.
